I only wash my face once a day and at night only run warm water across my face . when I did was my face twice a day I'd have alot of breakouts; that's becasue washing your face strips it of natural moisturizer, and if they're stripped off the skin you will produce more oil = pimples.

Wash your face with a mild soap. Use a clean warm steamy washcloth to open pores, and rub in an antibacterial cream, like neosporian or triple bacterial fighting ointment and leave on over night. Then in the morning wash and steam your face but after steaming don't apply cream rub with ice cubes, they really close pores.. Two other tips are DRINK LOTS OF WATER and KEEP YOUR HAND OFF YOUR FACE > that includes no picking, scratching, popping, or leaning on your oily hands.

At night, wash your face and put a tiny dab of toothpaste on the zit. When you wake up, wash your face with warm water and soap. The warm water opens the pores and lets the medicine in the facewash work. Rinse off the soap with cold water to close the pores. This really works!

All you really need to do is wash your face 2-3 times daily, applying moisturizer after each time you wash. Don't rub your face dry; be sure to pat dry. If you're one of those people who uses toothpaste to get rid of those big red pimples, be stingy with it and apply moisturizer after you wash it off. If you're a girl, DO NOT wear makeup whenever possible. It dries up the skin if you wear it for more than 8 hours, leading to bad breakouts. I learned the hard way. You have to let your skin breathe! Oh yeah, one more thing, antibacterial ointment or face moisturizer is best to use if you want to clear those painful pimples faster.

Steam your face twice a day. After steaming, wash with luke warm water, then a splash of cold water to close pores. Then apply some sudo cream and leave it. It works every time! Drink lots of water - it speeds up getting rid of spots.

One thing everyone needs to realize is that not one thing works for everyone and quick fixes that really work don't exist. I've known plenty of people that toothpaste worked for but not me. When I get a pimple, I take a sterilized needle, find the pore opening with a magnifying mirror, and then gently pierce and squeeze from as far below the surface as I can get. You want to make sure you're squeezing the puss up rather than back into the skin. If it starts bleeding, stop. At this point you'll only make it worse. I wipe my face with a cotton square soaked in Sea-breeze astringent and call it a night. The needle gives the puss a tunnel out so you don't just push it further down, irritating it and causing a big red scabby mess. Just make sure you wash your hands and sterilize the needle with a lighter then rubbing alcohol. Picking at it reintroduces bacteria and will make it linger longer and personally I'd rather deal with it looking horrible for 2 days than have it one step below horrible for 5 days. Again, different things work for different people and hopefully this works for you.

On the front of the cream it says it's "For the relief of minor skin irritations, redness and swelling." So it got me thinking. I put on the cream as I would put it on a normal rash and it made such a huge difference. I noticed it on the first day!

Try oil free cleansing face wash. The foaming type of face wash helps better. I've been using it for the past 6 months and I can see an appreciable improvement in my complexion and a reduction in pimples. Another effective tip is to reduce usage of makeup of any kind.

Using Apricot Scrub really helps me. I have tried all kinds of acne face washes and scrubs. St. Ives or Aveeno Apricot scrub works really well. All you do is apply it every night before you go to bed. Wet your face, put it all over your face in a circular motion with your fingertips, leave it on for one minute and then wash it off. It prevents acne or gets rid of it!

If you wear foundation, try wearing it as little as possible. It just clogs the pores. Pimples may look bad for a while, but it will start to clear up as pores aren't getting so clogged and there isn't as much dirt!

Steam your face (it opens pores). If you have a face mask, one that's good for pimples, put this on straight after because your pores are open and it activates chemicals in the mask. After you wash the mask off, steam your face once more for a few minutes and then scrub to get out dirt. Then, ice your face (which closes pores). Putting on ice makes sure no more dirt will get inside your skin. Putting ice really helped me a lot. Also use the normal cream. I use Nimuae which is focused on teen acne. It's really good. It takes a few weeks to work, though. I hope this helps!

Toothpaste really works. Place a little on the pimple and sleep over night with it. Don't use too much:it'll burn your skin.Rinse it off in the morning and add moistureizer.

Before you go to bed every night, spread on cold or room temperature aloe vera. It disinfects and heals naturally. Also, don't wash your face with too much soap. You can just use warm water and rinse cold and it won't irritate your skin!

This is a remedy my beautician, who is also my hair stylist, let me in on. He says honey is the key ingredient to beauty. Mix half a cup of honey with half a cup of cooking oil. The oil is to match the "viscosity" as he called it of the oil in your pores. Spread this on as a mask and leave it on overnight. If you roll over in your sleep, put a towel over your pillow. This is also good for dry hair, but only for an hour or so.

on 11/22/2005 If you ice a pimple, it helps to shrink it. It becomes less obvious and reduces the redness!
