If you have a lot of pimples or reccuring acne, the best thing to do is to wash your face with an exfoliant in the morning, and a light skin cleanser in the evening. During the day, if your skin starts to feel oily, drink a bottle of water or wipe your face with an alcohol pad. Before you got to bed each night, rub acne cream on the area where the pimples are located. It is best to use a cream with 7% (or higher) benzoyl peroxide.

I tired Proactive, and it didn't work for me. I think my skin is too sensitive, it made my skin a lot worse. It my work for someone else, but beware if you have sensitve skin.

Wash your face and put baby powder on the area. It's the fastest way to dry those pimples out and get rid of them. Baby powder the is the 8th wonder of the world. Always have some on hand.

Put toothpaste on your pimples, but make sure it doesn't have flouride in it. Flouride will just give you more pimples. Also, if you do a lot of cardiovascular exercise (like running or anything that gets your heart pumping), it will help your skin a lot.

1. I first wash my face and remove all my makeup.
2. I dab a little bit of toothpaste on the problem zit.
3. One product that works quite well is Noxema Night and Day. However, it can dry your face, so be careful. Most occassional pimples can be prevented and treated with this.

I often get really bad whiteheads on the corners of my mouth (thanks to the drool I produce when sleeping), and after I steam them and pop them, I put Calamine lotion on them. This really soothes the pain and makes the redness less visible. I just put some on a cotton ball and hold it on the pimple until the lotion gets warm. It works for me!

I have discovered an amazing way to get rid of pimples when they appear (and keep them from re-appearing). When you first feel a pimple or whitehead forming under the skin, ice it! It will shrink, and it might vanish. If not, apply baking soda and lemon juice to it immediately, and keep reapplying this mixture in the morning and before bed. If a pimple has already popped, put Polysporin on it. This stuff works great! I had a pimple that popped, and I kept putting Polysporin on it. It completely went away in 2 days. There are no scars. Make sure you buy the triple-action vitamin E enriched Polysporin (for around 7 or 8 dollars). It is really worth it! Remember to drink lots of water, eat your fruits and vegetables, and choose foods with iron, fiber and zinc in them. Whatever you do, don't pick or try to pop a pimple. This will only make it worse (and lead to scarring). Do not use lots of products. I find that if you steam your face at least twice a week, clean your face each morning with a mild cleanser, and apply a mud mask every other day, your pimples will go away. You don't need to buy all of that expensive stuff. However, if your acne is really bad, seek a doctor's help.

Take regular old-fashioned Listerine (the nasty flavor) and pour some on a clean towel. Gently scrub for a minute or two. Then, put on a dab of toothpaste and leave it on for 20 minutes before wiping it off. Do this for about a week. It works!

Just ignore it and it will go away. However, if you see that pus is forming inside and you are really eager to squeeze it, wait a couple of days until it gets bigger. Estimate the force of the squeeze you are going to apply. The "riper" the pimple, the gentler the squeeze you are going to need. This will make the pimple less prone to scarring. If you aren't that eager and you are scared of getting scars, just wait until it pops by itself.

When you put toothpaste on your pimples, don't put on too much. It will burn your skin. Try it twice a week, and it will make the pimples smaller. Don't put toothpaste on pimples every day. You will get a scar on your face.

I've tried every over-the-counter medication, including Proactiv (which worked for a while but later did nothing). After reading a Dear Abby article about using egg yolk, I decided to try it, and it worked. There was a definite reduction in pimples. I wore it for 20 minutes a day for two weeks straight, and once every two weeks afterward. It's the one thing that really works.

The best way I have found to remove scars of any type is to buy a product called "Rosehip Oil." This will dramatically reduce the blemishes, and over time, the blemishes will fade completely.

on 11/22/2005 Go to sleep with your facial cleanser on. Your pimples will definitely be smaller (or gone) by morning.

on 11/22/2005 This might seem a little weird, but I used diaper rash ointment with 40% zinx oxide, and my face looks 85% better overnight.
