Well, although they say it can lead to scarring, I think the way to clear whiteheads faster is to pop the pus out of them. I had a pimple on the side of my nose for over 3 weeks, and I finally popped the whitehead out of it. It was gone within 3 days. -

You absolutly have to moisturize your skin, cuz if you cover up your zits, it majorly dries out your skin. So use a basic moisturizer every night on your face before going to bed. -

Okay This may sound a little gross, but I have done a few modeling jobs and everyone that gets a pimple uses hemmoroid cream..It sounds gross..But it really works! -

I have had acne for so long and tried so many products. Including Proactive, and honestly it didn't work. Proactive tried to sell me other products in order to help with my acne, but it also didn't help. So I had to cancel my subscription. Proactive is not for everyone. -

Here's what I do and it seemed to help me... 1) Wash your face with mild soap. 2) Fill your bathroom sink up with almost unbearable hot water, and plunge your whole face downward. Soak for about 2 minutes. 3) Fill the sink up with the coldest water you can muster and, once again, take the plunge, soaking for about 2 minutes. 4) Use some sort of acne medication and hit the sack. I'm no scientist, so I don't know what the hot and cold water actually do, but if it helps, what does it matter? Also, drink plenty of water and don't eat junk, but most of all, keep your hands OFF your face! -God Bless -

When you put toothpaste on your pimples, don't put on too much. It will burn your skin. Try it twice a week, and it will make the pimples smaller. Don't put toothpaste on pimples every day. You will get a scar on your face. -

Don't pop it. There is a good chance it will leave a discoloration for a long, long time, much longer than you would have the pimple there. It's really not worth the gamble. -

Do not touch your pimples! Wash them with fresh water and soap. -

Dab lemon juice on your face in the morning. Your pimples shrink after a few days of use. -

Put sugar on a flat plate. Then sprinkle the sugar with a little bit of water, just enough to wet the sugar a little. Take the damp sugar and start scrubbing your entire face in circles gently with the sugar. When finished, wash off. -

Use a 100% pure tea tree oil on your face. It not only flattens the pimples, but also dramatically reduces the redness of the acne. You can get a bottle at most, if not all, beauty supply stores. -

I tried Avon pore minimizer and found that it works really well. Before you go to bed, wash your face thoroughly and then spread over face evenly. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off. Wipe the remaining stuff off with a washcloth and cold water. -

Applicator sponges for liquid foundation makeup are meant to be disposable, like cotton balls. Throw them away after each use because they hold bacteria. -

Apply some LEMON juice, just few drops is sufficient, after washing the effected area with soap and water. It works for me. -

Take a towel, run steaming hot water into your bathroom sink, put the towel over the sink so the steam will stay confined, and stick your head under the towel for about five minutes. It opens your pores and makes your face cleanser much more effective! -

Get a washcloth and get it really hot with water, put it on the pimple that you want to pop for around 15-30 seconds. If the rag gets cold, then after 15 seconds warm it again and do it until it starts to cool down again. Then pop the pimple. It doesn't leave scars and it really works. :) -

I have had acne since age 11. I have tried everything. The only thing that works for me I started using a few months ago. Neosporin has worked miracles on new pimples and old red scars. My face is 80% clearer and improves every week. I put it on at night and wash it off in the morning. Just use it sparingly and only where needed. -

Every time I have a pimple, I usually put a steaming hot washcloth over it to open the pore. I then pop the zit using the same washcloth (don't use fingernails, which might leave a scar). It usually disappears after a couple of days. -

1) Wash your face immediately after working out; 2) don't use shampoos with coconut oil; 3) keep hair and hair products off face; 4) keep hands off face - NO PICKING! -

To get rid of a zit, I found that oatmeal and eggs work. I can't remember how much, so use your own judgement. I also have oily skin, so I found it takes time. Don't judge someone on their ZITS! -

What I found to work best is when you have any amount of pimples you should steam your face. This opens up the pores. Then wash your face with a good soap that will not dry out your face. If your face is dry your pimples can get irritated and look worse. Then use a little bit of rubbing alcohol. Next, splash cold water on your face. This will close your pores and will help keep dirt out of them. If you want to you can put a little bit more rubbing alcohol on. There is a more effective and immediate solution though. Go to the store and buy Clearasil Ultra vanishing cream. It works very well for any pimple. -

If you just HAVE to pop a pimple, make sure you put some tea tree oil on afterwards to avoid scarring. -

I know it may not be the best thing for your body, but I was on Orthotricycline for years and my skin was usually clear. I just went off of it and although I lost some weight, and started breaking out. The pill really does keep your skin clearer. Also, a natural soap called Clearly Natural is good and gentle. -

Take regular old-fashioned Listerine (the nasty flavor) and pour some on a clean towel. Gently scrub for a minute or two. Then, put on a dab of toothpaste and leave it on for 20 minutes before wiping it off. Do this for about a week. It works!
