Soak a cotton ball (I use gauze) in some ethanol and wipe over your entire face (except for the sensitive areas, like near your eyes). It burns when you pass it under your nose, so try not to breathe. It makes your skin super clean and shrinks pimples, sometimes instantly. There is no need to wash it off afterward, unless it burns too much. Washing it off and then having to dry it will just get it dirty again. You can steam your face before, after, or not at all when using ethanol. Just make sure to run your face under cool water before using it to make sure your pores are closed or you could poison yourself. Also, remember that ethanol is flammable, so don't use it near an open flame or near a heat source. This is probably the most dangerous tip here, the benefits are good, but the risks are bad. One thing I am emphasizing is to only use ethanol on your face if you have dark or brown skin. White skin will turn red and unsightly, and will stay that way for a while.

Most people like candy better than fruit (OK, I do), but fruit helps you a lot! Fruits taste better than candies (once you get used to it). Try to drink water instead of sodas. I know I'm sounding like your Mom or Dad, but this really works.

First, you need to wash your face with a cleanser. Then, using a washcloth and 5-6 cubes of ice, rub your face, gently. If you have a pimple, it will get smaller or it will be gone. Use this method every other day. It will work. I promise. =)

Don't just sit there and sulk because you have acne, get out there and do something. ProActive works great for me. The three step process works wonders!

Many people say that toothpaste is just an old folk tale and it will have no effect, but it does! I have 3 easy steps for you to follow and get the best results. 1) Get a clean cup and squeeze about a tablespoon of toothpaste into the cup. 2) Add one cup of water (measure for best results) and mix the solution. 3. Dip a gauze pad in the solution and squeeze, leaving very little solution in the gauze pad, then apply to your face with a hot rag over the top. Do this 2 times in a row and sit for 5 minutes while solution is on face, avoid contact of eyes, burning may occur. This really works! As long as these steps are followed, you are almost guaranteed a beautiful clear face!

If you know someone who sells Avon, try ordering Clearskin Targeted Blemish Remover. It comes in a tube. Squeeze some on and in the morning your pimples will be two times smaller, or more!

Boil some water, put it in a bowl and and put your head close to it. When you're done, put tooth paste on your zit (but not too long, it will burn your face). it takes away the redness.........

Get a washcloth and put a little apple cider vinegar on it. Put the washcloth on your pimples. It may sting, but it takes away the redness of the pimples.

Guys, unless you have a gigantic zit that would get cut if you ran over it with a razor, shaving helps control acne. Shaving removes dead skin, and the warm water opens your pores. Hair traps oils that could lead to more pimples.

1.) Get out a cotton swab and some toothpaste 2.) Put a dab of toothpaste on the cotton swab and apply it to your pimples. 3.) Keep the toothpaste on for 3 hours, or until it gets really hard (you don't have to sleep with this on your face if you don't want to). 4.) Take a lukewarm washcloth and remove the toothpaste. Trust me, this works! :)

Wash your face with a washcloth and soap. Put toothpaste on effected area. After 1/2 hour, remove the toothpaste and put Clean n' Clear Acne Spot Treatment on the pimples (keep it on overnight). Never sleep on your face, it clogs your pores. Sleep on your back, instead. Put the toothpaste on your acne 3 times a week, and the Clean n' Clear treatment on every night before you go to bed.

If you need to pop those nasty little whiteheads, first wash your face with a mild acne cleanser. While washing your face, get a needle and disinfect it with rubbing alcohol. Prick the top of the whitehead with the needle. Use a paper towel or a cotton pad to gently squeeze out the pus. After popping the whitehead, dab a bit of toothpaste onto the area (while the pore is still open). Leave the toothpaste on overnight. This will prevent a cyst from forming, and will keep another pimple from developing.

I recently tried Clinique face soap, my family used it also. They have all said it gets worse before it gets better. I'm coming out of the worst stage, and things are getting better. I hope Clinique face soap works for you like it is for me. :)

I have acne, and I used to think about it around the clock. My face would get really red and oily. My friend told me not to think about the acne, and to put baby lotion on my face. This advice is working great for me, it might for you! Remember, the more you stress about acne the worse it gets. You produce more hormones and your face will get red and oily.

I have good, fair skin. Due to my habit of washing my face too frequently, I lost the natural glow of my skin. It became very dark and dry in winter. My beautiful face became ugly and pimples and acne appeared. To get rid of this problem and to restore my skin, I stopped my habit of frequent face washing and I drink a lot of water. This has helped me to restore my skin glow by 80 percent.
