on 10/1/2009 Hello everybody - I think I have to add to the preceding comments that every skin is different what is good for mine does not have to be good for the skin of my friend, my husband or even one of my sons let alone any stranger on the road. It is very important to test various methods before you settle for one. And talking about this video I can not make out who did it. Whatsoever I really appreciate the work which obviously has been put in but for me the speaking was a little bit too fast. Since I am not into this topic I was still pondering about one step while the voice was already talking about the next one.

on 5/27/2009 I found my miracle cure! It's called Diane35, its a contraceptive pill recommended by dermatologists for acne. In 2 months it has cleared 95% of my acne. It has almost no side effects, nothing like Accutane, although its not cheap. Definitely worth it, every teen should know about it. Pass the word girls.

on 5/5/2009 For me, simply cleaning my face every night with rubbing alcohol works great. It keeps your skin clean and any pimples that do happen to appear (usually because you didn't clean your face for a week or so) quickly dry out and disappear. However, I think that you gave great tips on how to do it as well. Good job.

on 1/24/2008 Never use hydrogen peroxide to "disinfect" the needle - it erodes metal, causing it to flake off which can cause an infection. Same goes for trying to clean pierced ears with peroxide - major no-no, you've just ruined those earrings. And while we're on that subject, treating pierced ears with rubbing alcohol just dries out the wound so it'll never heal correctly.

on 11/28/2007 I just finished reading The Clear Skin Diet. Many people and dermatologists believe that acne has no relation to diet. In fact acne is a combination of genetics, diet, stress and lifestyle. If you have tried everything else I recommend this book! Most people do not alter their diet to try and suppress acne because they have been told (even by their dermatologists) that it has no effect. But if you think about the companies that support the profession (Accutane etc.) it makes sense that most doctors just give you the easier fix even though it can be detrimental to your health. I was skeptical before I read this book and now I am a strong believer that you have to attack acne at all ends including a healthy diet. If it doesn't work, well at least you are eating properly. Don't give it up after a week though. You need about 3 months (90 days) to see significant results.

on 10/11/2007 HI.

I have terrible acne for YEARS. the only thing that works is roaccutane. Its a powerful drug that closes all sweat glands. You take for 3 months and ALL acne disappears permanently (for 2 years +). Its a dnagerous drug and needs a specialist persciption, but if you are in hell, then it helps. Thank Jesus!

on 9/6/2007 1/8 tsp lemon juice + 1/8 rosewater + 1/8 vinegar
Swab it all over your face before bed. In the morning wash your face with any acne face wash and you'll feel a dramatic difference in the texture of your skin. My face feels so soft and the pimples, reddness, and oil go away. The vinegar smell evaporates. I swear by this! It's cheap and it really works!

on 6/19/2007 I'm not Jessica Simpson or Kelly Clarkson but, proactiv really does work the best! After having a baby, my acne got so bad. I tried everything to get rid of it. Seriously I probably spent around $300 on regular face wash and masks and all that from the stores and it just wouldn't take it away. Finally I tried proactiv and I haven't had any issues since. BUT if you quit using it, in a month you will start to see it come back. I use it now only 3 or 4 times a week and its great. You don't even have to use all three steps you can just use the toner and it gets the job done!

on 5/24/2007 For redness try lightly rubbing on some Visine for red eyes. Sounds wierd but it works for a temporary fix.

on 4/17/2007 okay. im one of those people who gets whiteheads about 2 times a month. and BIG RED CYSTIC zits about 4 times a year.

and i can always get rid of them over night.

for cystic zits(the hard ones with no head that hurt extremly bad) put toothpaste all around it and leave it there all night/ REGULAR PASTE!!!! get crest:regular paste. NO WHITENING TOOTHPASTE OR GEL!

and for whiteheads i use sulfur. it comes in a pink bottle. apply with a Q-tip. burns like hell, but hey.... its worth it!!

seriously. if ur a teen with sensitive skin(like me) try this!
