on 9/25/2006 Most of the time, Anime has very detailed backgrounds. So, I would use Google Image search to find nice pictures. For example; search 'old house' or 'old road'.
on 7/5/2006 When you're drawing your anime/manga people, make sure you try to capture their true personality in their eyes as they are the most important part. The eyes are what make anime unique. You show 70% of expression in the eyes and the other 30% everywhere else.
