found a snake at the apartment today well actually my neighbor found it.

Our yard is clean. No trash, woodpiles, or bushes. They are in the grass. Now that it's hotter it's even worse here in Nebraska. How do you get rid of them? I'm not talking one or two. When my husband mowed the grass he said there were like 20-30 snakes. Yuck. Help!

we think there is a rattle snake in the ceiling, is this possible?

OMG! The snake came back...in the same place...What does that mean? Are there some baby snakes around possibly?

Snakes only hang out where there is Food, Water & Shelter.....get rid of the food source....weather it be Mice, or other rodent family members..(moles, voles)...frogs...ect and they will normally move on to greener pasture....there are ways to trap the snakes....and relocated them DO NOT KILL THEM they are mother natures exterminators!

OK so I hate snakes and I moved to Pueblo West. I just saw a snake that got hit by a car on my way to work today. It was the most disturbing thing that I have scene since Saw 3.

OMG i'm so scared. I just came here to see how to get rid of snakes and now my fobia just worse. I have to go cut grass and weed and I live in florida. gonna try everything posted to get rid of them.

This is for getting rid of snakes . i'm from South Carolina and I live in Atlanta , Ga now . Growing up in a farming family , it is a Southern custom to use lime . Lime irritates and eats away at a snakes or any retiles skin , so they stay miles away from it ( smile ) . You can buy bags of lime at any feed and seed store , your local wal-mart , home depot , or lowes . We in the South have always sprinkled lime under our houses, yards, and gardens . Its a proven scientific method , and its not harmful to humans at all ! Good luck . Stephanie Robinson

We spray our entire property line with diesel, it tends to keep the snakes at bay. However, not forever (unfortunately)!

Run them over with your lawnmower! This keeps the population under control for sure! I hate snakes - I do not want some attempt to control them. I want them dead.
