no, no, no! i am 5 foot 4 inches and i have an agent and work all sorts of modeling jobs including runway all over phoenix and scottsdale. i never thought to try for any runway but my photographer rebecca told me to try anyway even when people are specifiy looking for tall models. i almost always get the job. lesson is that you have to try and dont listen to no even if you are short!!! -

It is a good article. It is a real shame in that business, they don't use average build people, forgetting every one is a potential customer. Some are more than gorgeous and can easily attrack buyers like honey to a bear but for them the only thing they can't change in their apperance is height, it shouldn't matter when it is well proportion... But then what count really? Isn't glamour, elegance, style, class... Don't they think many little people have all that, what about the less fortunate don't they have the right to look good and feel good? The real challenge is to design clothes to the rest of us of any shape and size and still make us look good then they have really accomplished something worth sharing. Fashion should adapt to us not us to them. Don't get me wrong I love fashion and all that jaz but I seen to often the hurt on people faces when it is not design for them. It's almos -

Models come in all shapes and sizes. I thing this article is too specific for its title. Maybe this should be called "How to Become a Runway Model". -
