on 8/14/2006 You already have a pair of bike shoes in your closet, They're called sneakers. Don't let a lot of specialized gear come between you and your bike. The less "stuff" you have to buy, wear, adjust, and polish, the more likely you are to actually ride your bike. Think like a kid on a summer day; a fat tired Schwinn and a whole world to explore.

on 11/22/2005 Simply wear a pair of baggy shorts over your biking shorts. Something loose and comfy, so it won't bind up.

on 11/22/2005 If you don't want to look like a geek with those tight spandex shorts, opt for buying a pair of cycling shorts that are a combination of cargo shorts outside and spandex shorts underneath.
