Be sure to maintain eye contact during the touching glasses portion of the toast. You need to only glance at your glass from your peripheral vision, and move your glass along without too much force if you're worried about breaking something. Constant eye contact shows you really mean it.

Make sure the Best Man of a wedding has someone else read his speech, or at least his ideas for the speech, before the wedding. This is especially true for young men who have never been to a wedding before.
