Return to article: How to Exfoliate Dry Skin
on 9/8/2006 Take some whole wheat flour. Add a little milk (whole preferred) a little honey and make a paste. Use this as a scrub in the shower or tub.Dry some orange peel (keep the peels in sunlight for few days).Grind them in power (not too fine, so it can exfoliate)Mix it with the above whole wheat paste or use separately with milk and honey (optional).
on 7/10/2006 I recommend using an exfoliant with a high amount of glycerin, like Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub. Glycerin helps pull moisture into the skin and makes your face feel perfect.
on 11/22/2005 A professional art model taught me to use conditioner all over after showering. Apply, leave it on your skin a few minutes rubbing it in gently, then rinse it off. It leaves your skin softer and refreshed.
on 11/22/2005 I have found that using hair conditioner on my legs while in the shower helps to alleviate any redness or itchiness caused by shaving with a razor. The hair conditioner also leaves your legs silky smooth.
on 11/22/2005 While in the shower, put a good amount of baby oil all over your legs and start to shave, using the baby oil as shaving gel. The best stuff to use is baby oil gel, but regular baby oil works too.
on 11/22/2005 I learned this while travelling...Take granulated sugar and rub it on your damp skin. Let the sugar start to dry and then completely wash off. This removes dead cells, prevents pimples, got rid of my excema, etc. I use it on my face and body.
