on 9/18/2006 A great homemade product is 1 part auto windshield washer, 2 parts warm water.

on 9/8/2006 I just finished using a Quickie Mighty Mop as a scrubber and Zep Laminate and Wood Cleaner for the moisture. It is removing years of the dull build up from various other concoctions I've used. Lot of work rubbing the old finish off, but the mop is strong, lot bigger and stronger that the Swiffer.

on 8/8/2006 2 Tablespoons of kerosene with 1 liter of water. Cleans up marks pretty good, and there is oil in the kerosene so it gives it a real nice shine. Dab and swab with a cloth.

on 3/7/2006 I bought a Hoover Floormate to use on my new kitchen floor. I thought it would be so convenient to run the Floormate over it every day. Within a couple weeks, my Floormate started to carry an odor. I flushed the whole thing through with bleach, and I never let water sit in it, but every time I used it, it left dirt and a bad smell. Back to the mop I went.

on 4/13/2007 I use a product called AquaShine, it is for hardwood and laminate floors. I purchased it at Menard's. I vacuum my floor and then spray this on and use a Rubbermaid dry mop with the terrycloth washable covers. My boss wrecked the laminate in her store by using Murphy's Oil Soap--please don't make that mistake--very costly!!

on 1/23/2006 I spray Windex on my Pergo (sections at a time) and mop with a wet, micro fiber cloth attached to my Swiffer. The Windex dries fast as well.

on 1/4/2006 I found the Swiffer tool to be too weak when applying pressure to scrub off spots on the floor. So I went to my local Home Depot store and bought a pole sanding pad (the kind used for sanding drywall). For less than $15 I now have a perfect padded flat mopping tool strong enough to apply downward pressure and really scrub those spills of jelly or other sticky droplets. My vote goes to water and vinegar!

on 11/22/2005 Use "Wintergreen Alcohol" to clean the floor using a "Swiffer" type applicator and a small spray bottle. This is so sweet smelling that it takes the work out of the chore. I used to use this on my vinyl floors. It's great!

on 11/22/2005 They say Hoover Floor Mate is safe for laminate flooring. It scrubs, and vacuums up the small amount of liquid right away and the floor stays dry. It really cleans well and they sell an Old English product for the machine for wood type floors.

on 11/22/2005 I like to use Pine-Sol and a Hardwood floor mop (looks like a giant swiffer with a washable terry cloth head). I put the Pine-Sol in a spray bottle and it works fantastic.

on 11/22/2005 I find that using a solution of 2/3 water to 1/3 white vinegar cleans and shines my laminate floors. It's easy and convenient, as all of us normally keep vinegar around the house.

on 11/22/2005 I spray the Pergo cleaner onto the floor, I wipe it up by standing on a towel and moving the towel around with my feet. This way, I don't have to bend down and have my body weight working against me. For a more detailed clean, I do it the old fashioned way.

on 11/22/2005 I have found that Fantastic sprayed on my laminate floor and mopped with a flat fabric-type mop really works well. It leaves no streaks and/or water spots.
