on 10/20/2009 Jewelry made from paper is a great idea too. There are some great high quality artists who make their pieces out of sterling silver and paper or gold and paper. I like www.creativechick.net for this type of gift. And all the paper jewelry is handmade which gives it a special touch!

on 4/13/2009 For husbands trying to find the perfect present for that First Wedding Anniversary, Paper, is not easy. A sketch of her wedding dress on heavy ivory paper will be a wonderful keepsake and will also show your romantic side. And for those of you husbands with many years of bliss...present your wife with an intimate and personal gift that can be cherished forever. www.MyDreamlines.com

on 9/22/2008 I got an anniversary gift from my husband which I can never forget. Without telling me, he got a bunch of pictures from our dating days and got a beautiful video made from them. It was perfectly synchronized to music and because it was professionally made, the results were awesome! It was so romantic and touching, both of us cried for a while watching those moments come alive on the screen!! He got the DVD done at http://www.smilingsnaps.com and I think it wasn't expensive either, considering that everything was custom-made.

on 5/10/2008 A couple just requested one of my hand cut papercuttings for their first anniversary- what a great idea for a traditional "paper" anniversary!

Since my first anniversary is coming up I thought I'd look it up to see what other people chose to buy

on 3/2/2007 If you're giving a gift to a couple, consider purchasing a gift from their wedding registry. I'm coming up on my one year anniversary and I'd certainly appreciate receiving any of the registry items not already purchased. Most registries are still accessible online or in stores for long after the wedding is over.

on 3/20/2006 My parents gave this artist our wedding photo and some other great photos of the two of us (at New Year's, in a botanical garden)and she made it into a fantastic 8 x 10 collage. We absolutely love it -- especially how she cut out a picture of our puppy Solo (he was just sitting on the sofa) and made him look like he was nipping at Jess's wedding dress. It really shows you how much meaning you can get out of all those hidden little nuggets inside your photos. The collage was quite a treat and a surprise!

on 3/17/2006 I made a 6 page scrapbook for my husband on our first year wedding anniversary. The scrapbook commemorated the year we met and the first year of our marriage. There is room in the scrapbook to add a page every year, which I plan to do. He loved it!

on 11/22/2005 For their first anniversary, my brother took a picture from their wedding album to a florist and asked that an arrangement be made using the same types and colors of flowers that were in her wedding bouquet. He had it delivered to her office.

on 11/22/2005 From the husband to the wife: Paper Anniversary:
My brother asked me to help him buy a gift for his wife on their 1st anniversary. After much thought I came up with the following:
A complete day at the spa which included, a facial, body massage, hair make-up, tanning seesion, nails etc. He gave her the gift on paper in a card. She spent the entire anniversary day at the spa, lunch included and music from their wedding in Jamica. Then my brother had flowers delivered to her in the afternoon and to complete the day he picked her up from the spa and went for supper. The whole day cost less than $300.00
A Perfect Anniversary Gift that say I Love You

on 11/22/2005 Here's something the man can do, which mine did on our first. He cooked a superb dinner with the main course being a 10-diamond anniversary band and, of course, a romantic evening with no kids. At the time, we had our son.
