on 11/17/2007 My daughert Pamela Lynette Medley is a 23 year old single parent. She is going through a very hard time right now. I want her to stay with me and her step mom until I can help her get on her feet. she is currently unemployed, and don't have any health care insurance for her and the baby. I what her to apply for public assistance and live with me until she can get a steady job and find affortable housing. Can she get help? thanks...
on 1/29/2007 I was viewing my eligibility and found this list of whar you may need when you apply for benefits: Examples of what you might need: * Proof of Income and Resources (bring all that apply to you) o Current pay stubs or a letter from your employer stating your earnings o Income tax returns o Bank or credit union records o Stock and bond certificates o Trust fund agreements o Burial fund records o Life insurance policies o Car registration or title o Current unemployment check o Social Security benefits statement o Veterans Administration benefit check * Proof of Age (bring ONE of the following) o Driver's license o Birth certificate o Hospital certificate of birth o State issued non-drivers' ID card o Marriage certificate with date of birth o US Passport o Immigration or Naturalization certificate o Medicaid card * Proof of US Citizenship or Legal Residence o Birth certificate o Hospital certificate of birth o INS documents o US Passport o Citizenship papers
