on 8/21/2006 If you have books that clash with the color scheme of the room, make book covers out of coordinating fabrics that match with other decor. It really helps in creating a unified look.
on 8/6/2006 Place a small lamp on three books (or as many as you want), stacked on their sides. It elevates the lamp in an artistic way.
on 12/20/2005 Remove the dust jackets from hardback books to find more subtle muted colors below. The books will blend in more now and not look like clutter.
