on 11/13/2006 Tree Skirt- I agree about not using our Flag on the ground. I found some Texas print material to make a cute tree skirt on our Texas Christmas Tree. We also found red peppers covers for our white lights. We found quite a selection of Texas ornaments and Red and Blue glass ornaments. We added small Texas flags on each side of our Lone Star to top the tree. We added some silk yellow roses and blue bonnets.
on 1/18/2006 Never drop the Flag of the Republic on the ground. It is a very offensive thing to do. I would suggest a denim tree skirt in it's place, or put some boots under the tree instead.
