on 7/23/2009 1/7th of your life is wasted on Mondays. Thanks for this article! Also, I keep something to look forward to on Monday mornings. Trading your regular coffee for a specialty drink like Starbucks is an example, but what I do log on to my favorite humorous website, icanhascheezburger.com, and look at all the pictures that were uploaded over the weekend.

on 7/7/2008 Recent studies show that if you drink a full glass of water as soon as you wake up, it can give you almost as much energy as drinking something caffeinated. This is because your body looses fluid during the night. Also try having something with protein in it for breakfast. Egg whites or nuts for example. The protein will leave you feeling more alert and ready to tack that Monday!

on 3/23/2006 Make plans to do a girls night, or dinner night out with your guy/girl when you get off of work. It will serve as just a little motivation to make it through the day. Start a fun Monday night ritual of some sort, or even a Wednesday night, so that you have something to focus on during the day, besides your boss or job.
