on 7/27/2009 fresh eggs are hard to peel. less fresh eggs are eaiser so buy your eggs ahead of time

on 7/26/2009 FINALLY: For easy to peel eggs and no gray or green yolks. Poke fat end of eggs with a stick pin first. Bring 3/4 pot of water to a boil - NOW add eggs and bring to a boil again, about 30 sec. Turn off heat and cover. For hard boiled, let sit about 15 min. Rinse a little to cool down a bit. To peel: crack the top, bottom and one side. Shells will all come off easily every single time!

on 7/26/2009 This is an easy to follow article. Eggs are so funny in that they are so easy to ruin or break if you are not being careful. They are annoying.

on 7/26/2009 Adding salt to the water makes peeling the shell off the egg a lot easier!

on 7/23/2009 Good to know. I prefer to hard boil mine for just 5 minutes, though, or else the yolk turns grayish.
