on 10/9/2008 I had a bad breakout the other day and got it to clear up very fast by taking Vitamin A, using Clean & Clear advantage acne spot treatment, and rubbing Neosporin all over my face. You have to rub off the Neosporin with a dry cloth so your face doesn't look like it's covered in oil. Anyhow, it worked way better then I expected.

on 7/12/2007 I have had really good luck with a routine suggested by my facialist. She recommended using a super mild exfoliating scrub followed by an antibacterial soap ever morning in the shower, then immediately after getting out of the shower applying a small amount a good moisturizer. I have super fair skin so I got one with a SPF, and UV protection, I haven’t had a break out or a peeling red nose since!!!

on 4/7/2007 Okay, no matter what you think no alcohol, toothpaste, or peroxide, these things will just strip your skin of its oil and cause it to over compensate making your acne worse, your skin itchy, and big red blotches after several uses.

on 8/8/2006 When I get pimples, I make a paste out of baking soda and water, poke the zit lightly with a pin, and apply the paste. I leave it on overnight, and in the morning I just wash it off! My zits disappear in 3 days!

on 8/8/2006 After the pimple is squeezed (to the point of starting the blood to show) I don't let go of the skin but apply the Spot Treatment Gel (from Oriflame) on the "hole" and then let go of the skin. When the squeeze from the hand is released the treatment gel is sucked into the hole of the pimple and fixes the problem from the inside. The stuff that remains on the surface can be wiped off when it dries. Next morning there is no color, hole or any other trace left.

For drastic results you need drastic measures.

on 8/8/2006 If your skin is oily (like mine) and you often have break-outs, use Clean & Clear Oil-Free Acne Wash. I tried it and it got rid of most of my pimples in just 3 or 4 days. Remember to use it in the morning and at night.

on 8/8/2006 Cetaphil is awesome. It really works. Just take some of the cleanser and rub it on the zit before you go to bed. Don't rinse it off. The next day, your zit will be smaller. Keep doing this every night until it's gone.

on 8/8/2006 I have been to the dermatologist and have been prescribed Retin-A and an antibiotic. The Retin-A made my face feel like it was on fire, and it got worse before it got better. And antibiotics effect birth control, too.
I have used Proactiv for a year or two now, and it keeps my skin fairly clear, but I still get break outs every once in a while. I am hosting a baby shower in a few days and going on vacation next weekend - I am desperate for clear skin. Good luck to all of you fellow acne haters.

on 8/8/2006 I get rid of redness by using a small amount of Visine on my pimples. It lessens the irritation of pimples, just like it does for eyes.

on 8/8/2006 This stuff really works, trust me. I watched it on TV with people who had bad acne, and it worked for them. I just get pimples every now and then, and I thought; if it can work for them it would do wonders for me. Please try it, it really works! And even though it costs a bit, it's worth not getting pimples!

on 8/8/2006 I used tape and when I took it off, it took my skin off too! It looks ten times worse, it looks like a got into a fight and lost.

on 7/6/2006 I have really bad acne on my forehead in the area between my eyebrows. I was reading the back of a Rub A535 box and it said it was useful to treat back acne. I decided to try putting it on my face, and it worked wonders! I applied it 3 times a day, and within in two days my skin started to clear up!

on 7/1/2006 Toothpaste will work, but you have to know your skin and what kind of toothpaste you're dealing with. I've used it before with no problem, but I used toothpaste recently and it literally burned my skin. I ended up looking worse than when I started. Baking soda works, too. Just add a little water and make it into a paste and apply before you go to bed and leave it on all night.

on 7/1/2006 For those pimple that you can just feel under your skin, but it never seem to come to a head, try using a mint or cinnamon toothpaste on the area and let stand. I usually do it before bedtime. The toothpaste helps open the pores to release all the gunk trapped under the skin.
