I mistakenly put a dvd into my car cd player. Now, the cd player just spits out cds and will not play. Any idea what the fis is? -

I mistakenly put a dvd into my car cd player. Now, the cd player just spits out cds and will not play. Any idea what the fis is?

ny cd player in my 1993 celica will no langer load a cd it is original to the car a single disc, and it will eject the cd if you force it into the player. any ideas will be appreciated. rb

Well one thing to add that has worked a few times for me is that sometime the inner hole on the cd isnt quite big enough an you get either no or some response from the player, i use a pair of scissors closed an just lightly do a full spin from both sides to enlarge the whole a fraction, this has fixed brand new original discs quite a few times now.

my cd player made a loud noise and then showed "Er" in the digital display. It spins the disc, shows the tracks and then stops spinning. Is a motor dead or what? Appreciate any input.
