on 5/11/2009 Have you ever tried special cedarsoles made from fresh smelling cedar wood? It actually works pretty good! Just do a google-search for more information.

on 1/30/2009 Cat litter works for me! Fill nylon hosiery (I use knee hi's) with cat litter, place in shoes overnight. They will absorb the odor and are reusable. Best results are with Arm & Hammer cat litter with baking soda or add baking soda to generic cat litter.

You can also wipe your bare feet down with rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer at end of day before you put those puppies up on the coffee table. Either one cools, refreshes and deodorizes.

on 6/30/2008 For heels, Diva Diamondz are great. Diva Diamondz are diamond shaped pouches filled with a volcanic mineral that absorbs, designed for heels. Simple slip your Diva Diamondz inside the shoes, at the end of the day, and overnight your heels are freshened and good to go! divadiamondz.com

on 9/9/2006 Premium Hygiene Socks effectively prevent odor and removes sweat. They have received good feedback. People are using them for more than a year and are very comfortable with them. Just buy these socks and forget the odor and sweat problem.

on 8/8/2006 This works great:
You'll need: One pair of ankle-high socks and one box of baking soda. Put half the box of baking soda in each sock, tie off each sock so you have an oblong soda ball. Stuff the soda-sock into the toe of each shoe. Easy!

on 4/3/2006 Use rubbing alcohol, it's good for the feet and the armpits. Apply and rinse after 30 seconds.

on 1/5/2006 Save your old knee high nylons. Fill them up 1/2 way with fresh kitty litter. If the odor is really bad, add a bit of baking soda too. Tie the end. Place them in the sneakers, flattened, to cover the whole inside. Leave overnight. Enjoy fresh smelling sneakers in the morning! May be used more than once.

on 11/22/2005 Just put a handful of pennies (from the jar on your desk) in your shoes overnight and it works like a charm!

on 11/22/2005 If you're out of luck and your shoes stink, try baby wipes! They get rid of the smell!

on 11/22/2005 Spray the inside of your shoes with Lysol disinfectant. Go ahead and get the inside damp with it. It will dry, and the smells will be gone. I love to wear sandals and clogs without socks, and I've tried many other things over the years to get rid of the smell. Lysol is the magic answer. It takes a lot of wearings before any smell returns too.

on 11/22/2005 Simply pour a reasonable amount of Johnson's baby powder (or any baby powder) into them, note that you will need to be wearing wjite socks or u're sure that you wont be removing ur shoes until u r home, if it happened (n it did happen with me) i promise you that you will get a smile from those who smells the powder, which is better than (what the ***** is that rotten smell), remember to wash ur feet after you go home, this is helpful as a quick solution bt it wont prevent ur shoes to smell bad again after a while when you stop usin it...
