Return to article: How to Determine Your Dominant Eye for Archery
on 3/8/2006 There are three basic ways to determine eye dominance. 1) Is as listed above; with your two hands. 2) Take your hand and hold out your index finger and focus it on something with both eyes. Then close one eye at a time and whichever eye is still lined up with the object while the other one is closed is your dominant eye. 3) Take a toilet paper roll and hold it out in front of you so that both eyes are focused on an object through the center of the tube. Then slowly pull it back to your face keeping the object in your view. Whichever eye it comes to is your dominant eye.
