Return to article: How to Buy a Remote Start System
on 4/14/2008 I have a very small car (Suzuki Mehran ~800CC). Now there seems not mauch fami8liarity with the remote start system here in pakistan. I do not know if I get one from somewhere, will it work fine in my car & which system?
on 1/28/2008 What is the best remote car starter to buy. There are many types of systems out there. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i98_remote-start-car-alarms.html Please help!
on 11/18/2007 I use to be a big Bulldog fan, but now I believe something has happened to the company and I agree - the tech support is terrible if you can get thru. I purchased my 6th & 7th starter from them and did not get it for several weeks even though they charged my c card.Only after locating their phone number on the c card statement could I get someone and then no one would call me back. i finally got the remotes and they are used ones that do not work. I will be sending them back and ordering something else.
on 10/2/2007 I wouldn't recommend installing this yourself. It's likely you'll run into problems even if you know what you're doing. Buy the more expensive 2-way system that tells you that your car got the message. Also, expect to pay 50-80 dollars extra to bypass your passive security system (it will not disable it for thieves, you need the key to drive). Remember, this is an expensive convenience purchase and is good for people who like to drive there car before it warms up.
on 2/12/2007 hi i got a remote starter kit buy cant get it to work i need to bypass the transponder mbera@vodamail.co.za please reply
on 6/30/2006 Do not buy a Bull Dog Security Remote Starter. If you have any problems, advertised technical support does not exist! Do a search and you can find plenty of people stating the same!
