on 11/19/2008 All very good steps. However, I think you should have touched on the importance of immunization shots. ie. parvo virus, rabbies, etc.
on 8/8/2006 Don't forget to buy from a breeder providing you with a health guarantee. Make sure it is at very least 4+ years,as in most breeds many of the problems won't show up till that age or later.
