on 11/2/2007 When we spent 12 hours on an airplane, we used Sunshine Pillows. They provided support to the head, and easy to carry since it has a handle. Their website is www.sunshine-pillows.com. Another note, unlike many cheap ones that don't provide the needed support, and made using cheap labor, this one is made in the USA.

on 1/2/2007 Here is some Reviews from customers that bought the SkyRest Travel Pillow.

Got the pillow on time at the end of Sept via FedEx.

Worked great -

"I purchased the Skyrest pillow as an air traveler that NEVER can find
a way to sleep on airplanes. In anticipation for a long overnight
flight to Europe where it was imperative that I be fully functional the
next day, I purchased the Skyrest and it made all the difference in the
world. It only took twenty seconds to inflate, it fit perfectly on the
tray table in front of me and provided the optimal sleep position,
allowing me to pack in five and a half hours of much-needed sleeping time.
I give it five out of five stars."

Many thanks,
S.S. from Atanta, GA

on 10/24/2006 I had a similar problem with U-shaped pillows but I found a travel pillow called ezysleep. It's got a device at the front that supports the head, so it doesn't drop forward while you're sleeping. They also do a kids travel pillow that we use for our kids whilst they are in their car seats and in their push chairs. I was always looking over my shoulder at my little boy as his head flopped around in that car seat! It's solved that. My wife even uses hers to read in bed. Well worth a look but you can only get them on the web.

on 1/30/2006 I do a lot of travel and frequently long red-eye flights. I have two problems; I can't sleeping comfortably and I get leg cramps. I used the U -Shaped inflatable pillows forever, and they were never comfortable. When highly inflated it rapped uncomfortably around my neck, or under inflated my neck would not support my head enough. I ended up with a neck cramp because my neck was bend and my ear was touching the pillow. I could not get comfortable no matter what I did. I recently purchased a different style pillow called Travel 'n Sleep. It inflates but doesn't wrap around your neck, it supports your head at your head! There are two separate pillows that support on both sides of you head. I also liked it because my head didn't touch the seat. In addition, there is a exercise benefit. It shows you how to put the pillow on the edge of the seat, under the legs and pedal up and down. I also put it between my knees and squeezed, both really helped with the long flights and my leg cramps. Anyway, try Travel 'n Sleep, it really makes a difference!
