on 11/22/2005 The first time in the halfpipe, you should go to the top of the wall and turn your board downward. The next time, you should drop in. You do this by going to the edge of the halfpipe and placing your board half on and half off. Lean forward, and you will get the speed to get some air off the lips of the pipe.

on 11/22/2005 If it's your first time riding the halfpipe make sure you don't start by going all the way up the walls. Start by going a quarter of the way up. When you get comfortable with that then start going a third of the way, then half way, then you can do it.
