I brown pork chops in little oil on both sides then add about a cup and half os chicken broth with a bay leave and simmer for 35 to 40 mintues. The tast is so favorable and tender.Try it.

I am wanting to try this recipe - does anyone know if you need to put a lid on the roasting pan, or not..and, is there a need to add sauce/liquid in the bottom of the roaster ?? most appreciated..

I was in need of instructions for New Years Day Dinner...I had NEVER made a pork roast or even cooked much...I used a search engine (dog pile.com) finding your instuctions...I read them and followed them to the letter...I
It was a huge success to the entire Family...there was not a speck left from 8 people eating.
We are an Italian / American family. I used Olive oil rubbed all over the roast, garlic powder on the meat, 6 garlic cloves IN TO the roast all over, oregano, salt, pepper, and fresh parsley on the roast...
Thank you!!...how is this only a 3 star grade? It is hands down a 6 star vote. Thanks and a Happy New Year...
