Cove Lake State Park is in a valley on the eastern edge of the Cumberland Mountains in northeast Tennessee, about 30 miles northwest of Knoxville. The park is home to a 210-acre lake, scenic mountain vistas and a variety of recreational activities, including fishing, boating and hiking. Lodging is limited near the dam, so many tourists find other accommodations approximately 12 miles away in Savannah, Tennessee.
