When warm weather rolls around, most ladies are ready to say goodbye to that heavy winter wardrobe and hello to cute, colorful clothes. But instead of focusing all your attention on fashion, make sure you’re up to date on the makeup trends that everyone will be loving and wearing this spring, from gorgeous, glowing skin and statement-making eyes to bright, bold lips.

Glowing Skin

Though you might not truly be a bronze goddess until summer, you can look like one this spring by rocking the glowing, even dewy, skin that's sure to be popular with women of all skin tones this season. Get the glow by applying a lightweight tinted moisturizer or BB cream all over, then adding a bit of highlighter to cheeks, brow bones and down the nose. Top it all off with a bit of bronzer for a look like Katie Holmes', seen here at a movie premiere in Westwood, California.

Floral patterns aren't the only place you'll see stunning blues and greens this spring. Eyeshadows and liners in everything from powder and cobalt blue — like the shade model and TV personality Tyra Banks is sporting here at a movie screening in New York City — to lime and emerald green are sure to put a spring in your step this season.

The classic cat eye will always be beautiful, but this spring, ladies are stepping up their eyeliner game with cool colors and chunky lines along both the top and bottom lashes. Go slightly grunge with a swipe of smoky coal liner or make eyes ultra-defined with a slim, black version, like the one seen here on actress Jenna Dewan Tatum at the 2013 Oscars.

Big, Lovely Lashes

For a super-flirty and girly look, luscious lashes — like those reality TV star Kim Kardashian shows off at an event in Santa Monica, California — are a must this spring. To pull off the look, apply a few coats of black, volumizing mascara; then sweep inner lashes toward the inside corner of the eye, middle lashes toward the ceiling and outer lashes away from the eye. Finally, holding the mascara wand vertically, coat lower lashes in a downward motion. You can also opt for a simple pair of full, thick falsies.

For those ladies who have their eyebrow waxers on speed dial, this spring trend might seem a little alarming. But dark and defined eyebrows — like those on actress Lily Collins, shown here at the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party — can really make a stunning statement. To pull off the look, use a matching brow pencil to lightly fill in gaps and enhance your natural shape.

Classic, fiery-red lips are making a big return this spring, but that's not the only shade of red that will be turning heads. Expect to see everything from corals, orange-reds and even crimsons — like the one seen here on singer Rihanna at the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show — which look especially beautiful on ladies with darker skin. The best thing about this trend? Ladies with every skin tone can get in on the action, says celebrity makeup artist Tia Dantzler.

Matte Lips

Kiss that shiny smile goodbye! This spring, the lip look to love is matte lipstick in any shade, especially crispy corals or punchy pinks, like the one actress Emma Stone is wearing at the 2011 Met Ball in New York City. To ace the look, prep lips before applying color by exfoliating and moisturizing for a smooth surface.

Shades of Pink

Shades of Pink

This spring, ladies everywhere will be looking pretty in pink, whether it's with a soft pink blush or a swipe of hot pink eyeliner. And if you're looking to take the trend to the next level, opt for a shade of neon pink lipstick or gloss, like the one seen on "Fashion Police" co-host Kelly Osbourne at an event in Beverly Hills. Just make sure to try it out at home first, Dantzler suggests. "I would advise experimenting with colors indoors before you go outdoors, to ensure you're comfortable."
