by GrannyGoodEarth 0 Comments
The saying goes that "necessity is the mother of invention" and that sure was true when I needed to find a quick way to remove pet hair from a chair. I had already vacuumed the house and the furniture in anticipation of company but there it was: a patch of white cat hair on my upholstered chair. I couldn't find the lint remover but, as I was looking around, I spotted the small nail brush. The kind you can buy anywhere for scrubbing nails. Guess what? It worked! It was quick and thorough and it took only a few seconds to remove the cat fur. I liked the ease, the cost (about $1 at any dollar store or drug store) and the speed of cleaning with the little brush so much, I started finding other ways to use the little "wonder" brush. So here are some ideas you might like to try! Please share any new uses that you discover too! more »
