Mortar mix is an adhesive and is used to lay items, such as brick or tile. There are a few different types of mortar used for different types of jobs. Thin set mortar is used for floors and outside tile work. Dry set mortar is an unmodified mortar used for setting jacuzzi tubs. It sets quickly and is cheaper than thin set. Brick mortar is used for walls and sidewalks. It contains larger amounts of course sand and small stones. Whatever the preferred mortar for your project, you will have to adequately calculate the correct amount of mortar mix needed.

How to Install Flagstones

The second stage, after the flagstones have set, requires skill with mortar and trowel.
