Tips on Grouting Wall Tile

Grouting completes wall tile installation by filling the spaces between tiles with mortar. Most wall tiles have narrow grout lines of 1/16-inch or less, requiring the use of non-sanded grout. Select a color that complements the decor of the room. A color that contrasts the tiles highlights the grout lines and a non-contrasting color subdues them. After grout hardens, it is sealed with grout sealer to make it waterproof and stain resistant.
