Cleaning a Severely Scratched PS2 Game

Remove any fingerprints, oil, dust or other debris from the PS2 game disk. Place some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or chamois cloth, and clean the disk by gently wiping in a straight line from the center to the edge. Do not rub back and forth; stick to a straight line only. Run the disk under cool water to rinse off the rubbing alcohol. Do not dry the disk.

The most important concern is to not do damage while cleaning your printer. Harsh cleaning chemicals are not necessary to clean a printer effectively. Usually a chamois cloth or other soft cloth will be all that is necessary to clean a printer and get it working properly once again.

Caring for an LCD Screen

The most important part of caring for an LCD screen is to dust it regularly. Not only does dust look unsightly, but it also can cause long-term damage. Dust gets inside sensitive electronic components and can render them useless. It also gets into vents and blocks air flow, causing your LCD screen to run at a higher temperature than intended. The higher temperature can also damage internal components. Use a non-abrasive cloth designed for dusting or delicate surfaces, such as a chamois cloth usually used for cleaning autos.

How to Clean and Maintain Skylights

It really depends largely on where you live as to how often your skylights should be cleaned, but the inside usually needs cleaning twice a year. If the skylights are way out of reach, you should consider hiring a professional window cleaner to the job. If you decide to do the cleaning yourself, pick a day that's cloudy or a time of day when the skylights are shaded since the sun causes streaking.
The supplies you should have are: 2 buckets, a sponge, a rubber squeegee, a clean lint-free cloth, a chamois cloth and a commercial window or glass cleaning solution.
