How to Set Up a Badminton Net

Badminton is a popular racket sport played by hitting a shuttlecock back and forth across a net. The net and posts did not actually make an appearance until the 1860s when officers of the British Army stationed in India adapted the children's game of Battledore & Shuttlecock (using a paddle to keep the shuttlecock in the air) to its more competitive form that we are familiar with today. Most recreational, outdoor badminton sets come with a pair of posts included, making setup a breeze.
