I'm a writer, a dilettante, and a jack-of-all-trades. Writing pays the bills, but it's more than just a paycheck; it's something that I enjoy a great deal, even when I'm pulling my hair out searching for just the right word to round out a text. I originally hail from the New Orleans area of Louisiana, but have since migrated to Houston, TX. I have a cat who thinks it's funny to wake me up with a wet nose to the face, several odd friends who think the same, and a severe weakness for chocolate.
