Great tips! I never thought to ask for a quiet room

zach, US sites v. complicated. How I found this, I don't know but was checking trains LA-Albuquerque as I plan to be in LA ON 7TH Dec for a few days, then train fro LA-San Diego for Christmas but really want to visit New Mexico so guess i will have to go from LA-Albuquerque, or is it a lot cheaper to fly. it wasfun going to Hawaii and standing where Elvis stood...I have sand from Hanauma bay(canoe scene & beach shack) in Blue Hawaii. Elvis loved Hawaii and the people loved him...Many locations are marked and tours point out places of interest that Elvis visited

Great information with so many good points to remember, especially the one about the restaurants and college campuses. Also, one of my favorite city hall's to visit is the Hotel de Ville in Paris. They always have wonderful exhibits.
