: If this is considered one of the TOP written articles then who ever was the one who voted and wrote this has no idea how to play soccer or the laws of the game. From the beginning, this “how to” is very incorrect and laughable at times. First, the clock does actually run when the ball is out of play it NEVER stops. Time is added on at the end of the game for injuries and when teams purposely kick the ball out of bounds to waste time. Second, at the end of a game if it ends in a tie then you go to over time with two 15 minutes halves to determine a winner and if that doesn’t occur you go to penalty kicks. By the way the penalty spot is 12 yes 12 yards from the goal line NOT 13 and in case you are wondering it’s 11 Meters. I could go on about how you explain the OFFSIDE rule no S in that word and the fact that you can actually make a back pass to your goal keeper just NOT with your feet. I
