: Listen Cranky. before you start talking about other people's credibility go and write a few articles. The point of ehow is to get information. I can see that someone with your name obviously has nothing better to do with their time than to bash other people's writing. As a human being common sense says that you should be on an equal plateau to even begin to talk about others work. If there is anything ridiculous about this it's you. : I'm a CUNY Hunter student, and here is my perspective:
1. Hunter has a good reputation. So does Queens, Brooklyn, Baruch, and City. Staten Island is reasonable for some programs, though overall is not looked upon as highly. The rest of the 4 years...well, you might be better off looking elsewhere unless those are your only options.
2. Yes, the schools are disorganized. Bad. There is no hand holding. If you are uninterested and just trying to get by I can guarantee you will miss some important deadline or will not have your paperwork in order. I was a transfer and getting credit for classes has been a nightmare. Do as much as you can your first semester as far as admin is concerned.
3. If you plan on going to a post-grad professional program (law, medicine, etc.) pick a fairly rigorous major. The best are Physics, Math, Chem, Engineering, Philosopy, Classics, or a Foreign Langua
