this is funny i agree with the person above lol
This article is unfortunate. Addiction is a brain disease supported by scientific evidence and for you to claim otherwise only adds to society's stigma. In no way does this lend itself to the proper medical treatment of people with addiction.
...inside of the issue. (this comment limitation is a sincere pain in the ass.) passing readers beware; seek you more useful information upon this subject.
i'm sorry, but this isn't entirely accurate. you cannot sit there and tell me that everyone who smokes pot does it as a result from some trauma they experienced when they were children. i love my parents to bits and pieces, and they love me the same, and we've had an awesome relationship throughout my entire life. i've been smoking weed every day for 10 years and i don't do it as a result of any type of dysfunction or trauma. i know around 20 other people with a similar story worldwide. you cannot post such biased claims and boast them as undeniable truth. you need to think about the statistics a little more thoroughly. how many patients have you dealt with? how many people smoke pot worldwide? what percentage of that global total does your base of patients constitute? all i'm seeing left and right on this website is completely misguided information about marijuana from peo...
thanks for the article!!! i'll give it a try to advise it to my friend... ^_^
wonderful article thanks!
Cute and informative article with good relationship advice.
Great advice, but the exclamation points after every sentence made it almost impossible for me to read.
I used Chantix to quit and had no side effects and consider it a miracle drug. It made it easy to quit smoking after 20 years. It seems to good to be true but it is not. I had no symptoms when I quit taking the drug, and none while taking it either. Everyone is different. Stop taking it if you feel funny. Be sure to not take it on an empty stomach or you will feel nauseas.
You make a lot of good points. I don't think the 12 Steps are ther one and only way either and I also agree that addiction. at its core, is a self-esteem issue I'm just afraid to say that because people want you to just say that The 12 Steps are ther only possible way, when really the 12 Steps just beat you up a little bit more by having you say you are powerless, which also takes away from owning up to the things the addict has done because, hey can't blame me! I'm powerless! I think not.
