I've been a waitress, a tutor, a ski-lodge hostess, a stay-at-home mom, a Goodwill Donation Center Attendant, a Prayer Request Reader for a televangelist, and a bunch of other things. Right now I'm unemployed and enjoying the opportunity to catch up on reading, writing and the minutiae of everyday life. I have a B.A. in English, which would explain to those in the know why I've had such a varied work experience. I love books, and I am currently writing a novel for young adults. eHow is cool.

You can use ANY tomato product if you don't have spaghetti sauce. I've had good luck with tomato paste, if you add a little more broth. Canned whole tomatoes are a lot of fun, too, like big meatless balls in the soup. You can break them up, but we like them whole.

I did something similar recently, but it took me a lot longer. I cut back on the coffee (wish I'd thought of mixing it with decaf!) then switched to black tea, and now I'm drinking decaf tea with no headaches, jitters or other side effects. I even drink herb tea sometimes! Who'd have thought?!

Profession: Layabout

Hobbies & Interests: I read, write, crochet, cook, bake, do all kinds of puzzles, shoot pool, play basketball, watch movies.

Favorite Books: Too many to name them all.

Favorite Movies & TV Shows: I'm not much of a TV watcher, but I love all kinds of movies. Most recently, I saw Cloverfield, which is INCREDIBLY GOOD! I also love the Simpsons and their movie. I loved The 40-year-old Virgin. I loved Amelie and Tampopo and Orgazmo. I'll watch Galaxy Quest any time. Once again, far too many to name...

Education: B.A. in English, and a lifelong learner at various community colleges.

Associations & Clubs: I'm not much of a joiner, really.

Favorite Music: I like just about anything that is well-written and well-performed. I'm currently finding Goa Trance music to be my favorite genre, though I love Heavy Metal and some Classical and most Jazz and Blues. I like classic Rock and Alternative. Pretty much anything else that's good.

I Am an Expert In: Learning new things. Living on a shoestring. Being myself. Read my articles and see.
