It is key to post your signs in the right places. We have found that by placing them at nearby off ramps and busy intersections people who normally would turn the other way get curious. Arrows help alot and so does combinging with neighbors so you can adverstise, "Multi Family" or "Neighborhood" sale... this attracts more people since they will have more to see and barter over than a single yard sale.
