Where did you purchase your cottonseed hulls? I purchased mine at a local Farmers Co Op. The only advice they had was to try roundup. Can you purchase Cottonseed Hulls without the cottonseeds? Also, I did not know to add the nitrogen to the soil before. I think that is why some of my plants especially the ones I have in a container look like they are trying to wither up and die! Will I be able to add the nitrogen now? If so how much should I add? Is there anything else that you can recommend that will help them? Sorry to bombard you with all these questions. As you can probably tell I am getting a little desperate.
