After moving to Chicago from Indianapolis in 2001, I quickly realized there were no good websites for downtown Chicago. City, yes. Downtown, not so much. So, I created The Local Tourist. I'm proud to say it's the ONLY comprehensive website for the heart of the Windy City. Looking for a place to eat? Nightclub? Things to do? Gas station? Liquor store? How about where to vote?
