: Why are all articles about arguing with parents about some sort of safety issue? I want to play my music at 4th of July. (Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, Superchick, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, you get the point. Ages 7-19. Other than Avril Lavigne, no cussing, but I wouldn't include those songs anyway.) My dad says no, because he thinks I just like Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. I try to tell him about the other artists. He still says no! I offer to let him and mom and my brother play music, too. My brother has autism but still likes music. My dad says my brother doesn't get a vote, and he says that's a great solution, as long as my music doesn't get played. I tell him about the amendments. He says no. But it's not fair, he has a whole bunch of old relatives, which probably like Reverend Horton Heat, and I'm too determined to have no cussing in the songs, which is basically a
