I am a teacher in an all-girls High School and I have a couple of girls in my class that like to bring fashion garbage magazines to my class and read them when I am teaching the rest of the class. I confiscate this trash and ask them to see me after class. When the girls come to see me, I pull out their magazines and feed them through my shredder right in front of the girls, after getting the mothers permissiion. One mother was so upset about this occurence , She asked if she could come in and see me about this problem. She ended up bringing all her daughters' magazines to my class and took every last magazine and ripped them up and tossed them. She stated to her daughter, "I expect you to go to school to learn, not waste your time reading these magazines. I cancelled all your subscriptions and you now have no more magazines" Does any other teachers have this problem and if so wh...
