by Dr. Christopher J. Kline on 11/26/07 : Good stuff Rich! Now I am looking forward to part 3 and 4. Apple is so cool and what an amazing marketing machine! It is only natural for a cool place like Starbucks to want to get involved! They always seem to be on top of cool things like packaging and giving away their used coffee grounds to gardeners and partnering with I Tunes to offer free mp3 downloads to their customers. I wonder if they would consider adding WIFI to their stores so people could work on their computers and get free music downloads while they enjoy great coffee. The latest and greatest thing they have done is to offer toasted breakfast sandwiches that rock even more then their free downloads. First college students caused a scandal for illegal music downloads and now they can get them for free from their neighborhood Starbucks coffee shop. Keep up the good work! You Rock! by Dr. Christopher J. Kline on 11/20/07 : Great Stuff Rich! Now I need to read part 2 and 3. It's interesting how something like music downloads that were once a big illegal scandal on college campuses all over America can quickly be commercialized and mass marketed changing the music industry forever. Most people did not really even seem to care when their free music downloads suddenly started costing a buck a song. It was more the convenience and the ability to buy and share digital music that mattered. There are still places to get free mp3 downloads but sales through sites like I tunes are big business. I wonder what percent of total music sales is now related to digital downloads. I would venture to say that it is huge, and that even though people can copy digital music and share it, total sales still go up because of the novelty and convenience of digital music downloads. by AminTaheri on 11/30/06 : In the latest James Bond Movie - Casino Royal (which was actually the first james bond movie - made as a spoof believe it or not), The recipe for Bond’s “Vesper” martinis is - three measures of gin, one of vodka and half of Kina Lillet, now named Lillet Blanc. The ingredients are mixed then strained and served "straight up" (without ice) in a chilled cocktail glass, and garnished with either an olive or a twist of lemon (a strip of the peel, usually squeezed or twisted to express volatile citric oils onto the surface of the drink). ... more »   respond »

I believe Ian Fleming's Casino Royale the Vesper Martini was slightly different. In addition didn't Bond also make a drink called the Americano? ... more »   respond »
