The Bible is the best advisor there is. If you are trying to become a christian look at those who did it in the Bible. Paul, the Etheopian Unich, the jailer...etc. all examples are good ones. They all were baptised!

That last verse in John 1:32-34 is saying that Jesus baptises with the holy spirit.
