Xailan I rated all just for you.... Heb 10:25 says "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. " One should attend church. also look at those became christians in the new testament. they didn't have the cath. history then! and in every example of conversion in the new testament baptism was done... more »

I agree that one just has to know what they are doing. instead of this being a baptist belief lets not lable it to a religion but a bible teaching. you do have to be bapized to be saved. Mark 16:16 " He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." so both belief and baptism are necessary. Look at the ethopian unich Acts 8. He is a great example of conversion. he confessed before his baptism after being taught about Jesus. this is all I'll say. I am not a baptist just one who believes only the Bible. more »

We have control over all our actions. so many verses talk about us being judged by our deeds. Also God has provided us a way of escape anytime we are tempted. 1 Cor 10:13. We can control sin. We don't because we are weak. more »

I am not trying to make an argument here but I believe that baptism is essential to salvation. All examples of conversion in the new testament involve baptism. It is a comand and it is necessary to salvation. Acts 2:37-41 . Acts 19:2-5, more »

I would say it is our fault. Matt 16: 27 says," "For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS." also John 5:29," ... those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment." Also when Cain was tempted God said to him Gen 4:6-7 "Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7"If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it." more »

These are all good comments. Remember don't force anything. If you do a lot of flooring it you will make your own grand canyon. Once you get going again keep steady and smooth on the gas to avoid this again. more »
