There are many other methods...but this method is very cruel and may cause harm to the cat. The idea here is to get the cat to stop going on your garden...not to destroy the cat, right? I have read articles on this.....and this is one of the most cruelest methods out there. Please consider other methods, such as citrus or cinnamon. Also placing platic trash bags with rocks until the plants you are growing are ready. Garlic is another proven method. Please do not harm another persons pet for doing what is instinct for your lack of learning. Imagine a 7 year old coming home to a cat that is dying because you decided you didn't want it to poop in your yard!!!!! just my thoughts..

I haven't tried this out but I hadn't heard of the hand lotion one before! I HATE getting staticy ... it's so annoying and I hate when it affect my hair too. I am now going to put hand lotion in my purse and bring it with me everywhere! Thanks!
