@deb I wrote this after I realized that I was in the middle of the Crash Course. After daughter left, it was like "HEY"......now what? :) However, I might still be in the denial stages....so it could take me 10 yrs as well!! :) Slow is good! XO

@deb We finally got broadband back in August. We may have actually reached the 21st century :D Maybe. We'll never get DSL or cable or anything like that out here, on an affordable basis. It's worth the extra $$ because I then cut the phone down to very lil long distance and cancelled the dialup and that pretty much pays for the broadband!! YAY for speed!! :)

I did a complete genealogy for my mother on a 28K modem, so I know your pain. I had to go back on dialup last year for a short while when I lost my job, and I thought I'd go insane! If there is one thing I will find the money for, it's going to be broadband. I know that rural dwellers can't always get it, though.
