One of the statement given in this report are completely incorrect. After the car has fired up it should be drive away as soon as possible. An idling car engine does not produce sufficient heat to warm up the engine oil fast. The faster the oil heats up, the better. Also, a car that idles uses lots of fuel, is pure poison for the environment and cheeses off the neighborhood. Idling engines cannot heat the catalytic converter so they are unable to treat the exhaust gas. Hence, start the car and drive off immediately.
